Source: What is Theoretical Saturation? (Delve)
URL: https://delvetool.com/blog/theoreticalsaturation
In grounded theory, data collection and analysis alternate. Theoretical saturation is reached when more data only confirms what you already know and doesn’t expand the findings, so you stop collecting. Reference: Glaser & Strauss (1967), The Discovery of Grounded Theory.
The FAQ borrows this as the stopping rule for error analysis. → Theoretical Saturation
