Use cases for an interview prep agent:
-
Gather your experiences: Compile a complete repository of your past experiences. This involves going through each set of experiences and highlighting or answering specific questions. This forms the foundation for generating personalized resumes and other application materials.
- Build considerations
- Conversational AI to cycle through the experiences and questions and ask the relevant questions based on what is not answered
- Need to make the questions as relevant as possible. Show that it understands you so that you are not intimidated by the number and amount of questions
- Maybe go job role by job role and show the outcomes so that motivation is persistent and nurtured.
- Create a bank of questions using the Questions to Gather Experiences
- Decisions decision
- Need to gather as much user context upfront as possible
- Scrape data from LinkedIn or read a resume and automatically fill out the roles automatically.
- indicate to the user, the progress they’ve made
- Target Audience might be only people who have experience and havn’t updated their resume/linkedin because it is daunting to put yourself first.
- Need to gather as much user context upfront as possible
- Directions to think in
- Can the conversational candidate presentation actually be useful in screening the candidate?
- Should the raw conversation even be shared with the user? That is what makes people come back
- Does it make sense to give feedback and nudge the user in specific directions? (especially if the JD (later requires it))
- Acquisition strategy could be:
- Scrape linkedin for open to hire (they are looking for a job) and shortlist the ones who have a bad linkedin page setup ⇒ Optimise for that.
- Social aspects? Eg mallu’s have a hard time in general talking about themselves - and find it awkward to do so.
- Conversational AI to cycle through the experiences and questions and ask the relevant questions based on what is not answered
- Build considerations
-
Identify target companies: Define criteria to find suitable companies. The agent can then identify available companies that match your criteria.
-
Personalize your resume: Tailor your resume to each specific job description (JD).
-
Write a cover letter: Once the resume is customized, write a cover letter.
-
Prepare for interviews: If you are shortlisted, prepare for interviews by researching the individuals you will be speaking with. Utilize information from platforms like LinkedIn to select relevant stories from your experience that will give you an advantage.
